Our Business and Economic Development service has a mandate to strategically grow our local business and employment base and support a thriving and diverse local economy.

We can help with:

  • Identifying a location for your business in the District
  • Starting, expanding, or moving your business within the District
  • Facilitating municipal licenses and permits
  • Liaising with various District departments and other agencies
  • Providing property, market, or statistical data local economy updates
  • Facilitating local and regional business ecosystem introductions and referrals
