The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre is located in Lynn Canyon Park at the end of Peters Road in North Vancouver.

Ecology Centre Hours

The Ecology Centre is open 10 am to 5 pm from June to September. The Ecology Centre is open 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and noon to 4 pm on weekends from October to May. The Ecology Centre is closed at noon on December 24, 2014 and reopens at noon on January 3, 2015. The Ecology Centre is also closed February 10, April 18 and 21, and November 11.

Lynn Canyon Park Hours

The Lynn Canyon Park Gates are open; Summer: 7 am to 9 pm, Spring and Fall: 7 am to 7 pm, Winter: 7 am to 6 pm.

What's Happening at the Ecology Centre!

INSIDE OUT - There are just a few spots left so don't miss out! Register for Inside Out - one of our summer Imagine and Explore programs. Join an Ecology Centre naturalist to learn about the amazing animals who keep their skeletons on the outside of their bodies. This program is for children ages 3 to 6 with an adult. The cost is $8.25 per child and adults are free. Pre-register at 604-990-3755.

STRANGE BUT YUMMY: Cooking with Local Produce. Saturday, July 19. 10 am to noon. John Braithwaite Community Centre. Register for this event at gardensmart.ca Have you ever been to a farmers' market and wondered, "What is that weird vegetable and how do I cook it?" Join nutritionist Vashti Verbowski and explore the mysteries of the farmers' market. The recipes shared will be simple and delicious.
